Locations
Most people choose to do photoshoot in the city or at a beach.
Beach: In general I can make most beach look good on photos. But if I have to choose I choose Cas Abou Beach or Klein Knip beach.
The time you choose for your photoshoot place a big roll, especially at the beach.
Morning: Beach is calm, sun is direct in the eyes. But water is nice blue (around 8/9 am)
Midday: Beach is Bussy. Sun will hit behind your back. Sun is hot. Water is nice Blue. (around 3/4 pm)
Sunset: Beach is Calm. You get the sunset. Water is not bright blue. (around 5:30 pm) (Sunset is not visible all the time. It’s about getting lucky or unlucky)
I would be using flash in most of my shoots if needed. This will help the colors to pop more. And also it helps for us to get the sunset colors.
If the beach is busy I will always do my best to photoshop people from the background.
City: We can walk around the city and get different spots; arts, colorfull buildings, bridge, Curacao sign.
Starting time I recommend around 8:30am or 5:30pm.
Why do I use flash?
I really like vibrant colors. Flash help me to get this. Especially when you want to get nice blue waters and the nice sunset color.
Flash will also help me so you won’t need to look directly to the sun. In other way, I do not need to sun to get good lighting on the persons.
I use flash when I feel it’s needed. You can also let me know if you prefer it or not.

Curacao weather
In Curacao you can not really trust weather predicts. They can say that is is raining but most of the times it’s not. And if it rains it’s mostly a part of the island and for short period.
I would recommend to just check the weather with your own eyes that day to take a decision.
